Open Table at MCC and in Marin

The mission of Open Table is to transform poverty and homelessness into wholeness and stability, one life at a time. Each Table is made up of 8-12 volunteers who are equipped and mentored to develop and implement stability and self-sufficiency plans for our impoverished brother or sister who want to take an active role in creating their future. learn more

Late last summer, MCC launched its first Open Table. Each of the team continue to remark in praise for our God who reveals Himself in making provision for our sister at every turn as we see her move towards breaking the cycle of poverty in her life. He is Good!

And throughout Marin, four more Open Tables are in operation and five in process of launching. Open Table pleases the Heart of God as we serve those in poverty, homeless and orphans . and brings a real and deepened sense of unity amongst Marin churches.

Marin Gift of Love

Join with hundreds of others from various churches for this 5th Annual Gift of Love on Saturday, February 11th. Our gift of service helps to keep the Marin community a safe and beautiful place.

The schedule is:
Gathering for worship at Marin Covenant Church at 8am
Joining with others at various worksite venues at 9:30am; and concluding with a BBQ Celebration at Marin Civic Center Park at 12:30pm

The various venues include: Black Point Boat Launch (Novato), Mission and Grand Adopt-A-Spot (San Rafael), Civic Center Park (San Rafael), Joseph Court Fire Station (San Rafael), Falkirk Cultural Center (San Rafael), McGinnis Park (San Rafael), Sleepy Hollow Open Space (San Rafael), Jolly Hill Open Space (Fairfax), Bald Hill (Fairfax), Old St. Hilary's (Tiburon) ... and helpers for the BBQ.

Hamilton Teachers' Appreciation Lunch

As the school year continues, we have opportunities to serve and be neighbors to the students, their families, and to the staff and faculty at Hamilton School (K-8). On Wednesday, January 25th, we get a chance to show our appreciation for the work of the teachers and staff by providing them with a lunchtime opportunity to enjoy one another and to relax.
