Missional Living
Missio Dei …the Mission of God is to redeem through you and me - His Church - a special people for Himself from all the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations of the world. God, the Father, sent His Son, Jesus, for this purpose; He sent His Holy Spirit to empower us and He sends us - the Church - into the world with the message of the gospel of His great love and overwhelming grace for the same purpose.
Missional Living … is a realization that does not segregate global missions from outreach from evangelism from loving our neighbors, but redefines them as integrated, non-exclusive Kingdom endeavors.
Living Missionally ... suggests that we - you and me and us gathered as His church - live and reproduce disciples who are learning to see and live like Christ and are sent into the world, as He was, to proclaim in word and deed and power, His Redemptive Love and Grace, thereby living His Kingdom in the world.
Marin Covenant Church is called by God to be more than a church doing missions, she is called to be a missional church -- a body of Jesus followers engaging the world, wherever we are and in whatever capacity we find ourselves, with the love and grace of our Lord.
And we are "... to engage with the spiritually hungry, toward a life in Christ that's inspired, intelligent, and involved."
Living Missionally - Issues of Injustice (Social Justice)
God's heart breaks for those who find themselves as widows, orphans, the poor, the enslaved, and those marginalized in our world. His heart breaks and His eyes turn to see what Christ followers are doing to redeem those afflicted. There are a diversity of these issues; however, we -- as a church -- are intentionally focusing on:

* Marin Homeless - Street Community
* Human Bondage Issues: Globally and Regionally
