MCC-HAMILTON SCHOOL YARD SALE

Spring Yard Sale for Hamilton School

Spring cleaning is coming up and so is the Annual Church Yard Sale to benefit Hamilton Elementary School. Each year all the proceeds go to help students excel: summer camp, music program, etc.

This years' yard sale will be the weekend of June 3-4.

There will be container for collecting items in the MCC parking lot and at Hamilton School. MCC container will be available for accepting donations from 9-3 on M-F, on Sunday mornings or upon request.

Your contributions will all be appreciated. Donation receipts available.

OPEN TABLE COMES TO MCC

THE OPEN TABLE MOVEMENT: FROM POVERTY TO WHOLENESS. ONE LIFE AT A TIME.

Open Table is a growing collaboration of people from faith communities, state and local government, business, education and non-profits who are united in a shared purpose of restoring families in poverty to wholeness and full participation in our communities. A Table is a group of people that act as a team of life specialists, encouragers and advocates for an impoverished family. The Table which includes the impoverished family establishes goals and develops the overall plan. Each chair at the Table operates as a functional department in the process.

As a community of Christ followers, we at MCC have a great opportunity to help a family who lives in poverty to a life marked by wholeness, stability and self-sufficiency.

First Place for Health Group

Do you want to improve your relationships with others? Do you desire to be physically fit? Are you tired of being tired? Would you like to know God in a more intimate way? The answer is coming!
First Place 4 Health, a Christ-centered total-wellness program, is being offered as a Spiritual Formation elective at Marin Covenant Church. To find out how to achieve emotional, physical, mental and spiritual wellness, contact Adrienne Grechman at firstplace4health@marincovenant.org or phone 415.637.2891.
First Place 4 Health groups will begin meeting on Monday, May 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Youth Room. To join, attend the victory celebration / orientation meeting on Monday, May 2 at 6:30 pm in the Youth Room or contact Adrienne Grechman at 415.637.2891 or firstplace4health@marincovenant.org.
