Listen/read to the passage 4 times, each time engage the imagination and senses

Listen for broad strokes - Where? When? Who is there? What happens?

Pay attention to details - get more specific in the story, what do you notice?

Engage senses - what do you see, hear, smell, feel, taste?

Identify who you are - which character do you notice and recognize?
