Nathan and Harmony Jansen have been serving with Mercy Ships since 2023. Nathan is the Managing Director of the Africa Mercy, providing spiritual and executive leadership for a crew of over 400 volunteers, contractors, and staff from around the world. Harmony serves as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the rehabilitation department, helping patients regain independence after surgery. Together, the Jansens are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus and bringing hope and healing to those in need. Their children — Andre, Gabriella, and Eliana — attend the Mercy Ships Academy onboard the ship and enjoy friendships with students from many nations. Nathan grew up at MCC, and together the Jansens have been serving in missions since 2005.
