Merge is a ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church. With Merge, Heather and Esau help facilitate and create meaningful connections between the local and Global church, as well as organizations involved in local ministry, outreach, and community development programs around the world. They customize domestic and international short and long term mission experiences for groups seeking relational ministry and learning opportunities from the global church that will have lasting impact.
As Serve Globally personnel with the ECC, the Caraway de Vega family oversees the region of the United States, Central America and Jamaica. They seek and care for healthy and sustainable ministry partnerships, coordinate all trip logistics, and train and equip Merge staff, teams, host sites, partners and volunteers. In addition, Heather is the director of staff and HR for the Merge Leadership team. Her primary role is to pursue, hire, train, and care for our Merge coaches around the world. Esau works with Merge in marketing and communication.
